It’s nearly Easter and this week we are finally allowed to mix with friends and family outside! To celebrate we have teamed up with the awesome Rascals Ice Cream in Knaresborough to bring you this Proper Easter Milkshake recipe! Rascals delicious chocolate milkshake is perfect for a real Easter Treat and is a great way of wowing friends and family with minimum effort!
Ingredients & Equipment
For the milkshake –
2 scoops of Yorvale Double Chocolate Ice Cream
150ml of Whole or Semi Skimmed Milk
A heavy bottomed glass
To top it –
Whipped Cream/Squirty Cream/Extra scoop of ice cream
An Easter Egg/Mini Eggs/Creme Egg (for toppings)
A thick Milkshake Straw
1. Put 2 scoops of Yorvale Double Chocolate Ice Cream into your glass and then add your milk to the top of the glass (this way you’ll get exactly the right amount of milkshake).
2. Empty the mix into your blender and whizz it up until it is thick and creamy consistency – 20/30 secs max – and transfer it back into your glass.
3. Add your Cream or extra scoop of ice cream (or both) to the top of the milkshake and add your topping of choice (crushed mini eggs/half a creme egg or broken pieces of your favourite easter egg)
4. Drizzle your chocolate sauce over the top, pop your straw in & enjoy!
For that extra wow factor you can drizzle the sauce inside your glass before pouring your milkshake back in.
